Andy McKee takes the Clubman MX2 Irish Championship with help from Balloo Hire.

03 October 2011
Irish Motorcross C MX2 Champion, Andy McKee pays tribute to Balloo Hire Centre Business Development Manager Andy Owens, who helped the Hillsborough rider become the first Irish champion of 2011, winning the Clubman MX2 in Seaforde.
“I’m lucky now to have won the championship with a round to spare. There wasn’t a lot to sing about today! I managed to snap a sprocket in the first race and then the bike stopped in the second one. I was struggling with my starts off the concrete so I tried third gear in the final race but it didn’t work out and I had to come back from last. But overall the year has been brilliant and I’d like to thank all those that have helped me, Andy Owens from Balloo Hire Centres, Mark Arnott from Holeshot and my Mum and Dad. It wouldn’t have been possible without their help.” Said Andy after the race.
We at Balloo Hire Centres wish Andy all the best for the rest of Motorcross season. Click here for more information on Irish Motorcross.
