Balloo Hire branches out

Air Products have appointed Balloo Hire, one of Northern Ireland’s leading plant, tool and equipment rental providers, as their new agent for Belfast, bringing the complete range of welding, process and leisure gases into the heart of Belfast.
Paul Lavery, managing director of Balloo Hire, said “We recognised an opportunity to provide a greater level of service to a wide range of our customers by providing specialist gases to welders and other industrial processing businesses. The range of product available to us perfectly complements our existing industrial equipment rental offering. As an Air Products agent, we will have access to quality gas products as well as expert technical advice so we can advise our customers about how to improve productivity, efficiency and safety.
Earlier this summer, Balloo Hire announced its investment in 20 new excavators as part of the ongoing expansion of its hire fleet, bringing its total spending on new equipment in 2011 to well in excess of £2m.“We are continuing to invest in extending our product range and we believe this has contributed to our growth despite the tough economic conditions,” added Paul Lavery.
